         The cut and layout of the pockets allow them to remain civilian enough not to reveal the wearer's identity, while still allowing you to carry a full set of tactical gear. The Velcro closed elastic waistband allows for a measure of adjustment within the size. Large belt loops allow for wide belts such as EDC, UTL® or Cobra®. In addition, the cut (cut from blue jeans, of all the jeans to choose from) prevents the shorts from getting lost while wearing. By judiciously arranging the pockets, the gear can be placed close to the center of mass around the hips and waist. The edges of the front and back pockets are reinforced to resist the constant movement of light or knife clips. Two Velcro-closed front pockets are large enough to carry a smartphone - or even an AR/AK rifle magazine. The zippered pockets on the thigh look flat - but its design makes it easy to carry purses or wallets. A wide variety of colors lets you match the shorts to the rest of your wardrobe or working conditions.
