This STURM Mil-Tec reproduction has no match to the most other reproductions available on westerner and Asian web-sites. I mean it is very close to WW2 US Army manufacturing specifications.
This cover is very spacious / roomy for both the canteen cup and the cup. I have tried it on my US Ingersoll Products canteen cup and SWANSON 1943 water canteen. They match to the cover PERFECTLY.
Even wetting the internal layer / felt ( as the GIs did during WW2 for keeping water cold in the canteen ) after possible shrinkage of the cotton canvas, NO DOUBT it can EASILY take inside the canteen cup and the water canteen.
Canvas, felt, seams are very good in appearance and subsequently proper in usage.
I am really sorry for not ordering this cover from YOU right from the beginning instead of ordering TWO different replicas from English and Spanish vendors, being disappointed after the money wasted and unconfirmed expectations.
I have been also very pleased by the EXTREMELY fast dispatch, meaning I received the order on the very second day ! !
